This week we released Sensei LMS 4.9 and Sensei Pro 1.9.
There were dozens of improvements and bug fixes, and if you still need to update, we recommend you take a few minutes to do so now.
What’s new? Let’s take a look at the highlights…
Co-Teachers
The ability to share ownership of a course has been a highly requested feature by Sensei users. With the addition of the Co-Teachers user role in Sensei Pro, it is now possible.
When editing a course, you will see a new setting for adding additional Co-Teachers.

You will first need to go to Users > All Users and change the role to Teacher to give someone access as a Co-Teacher.
Co-Teachers can edit course settings, lessons, and quizzes.
Simplified Course Settings
Over the last year, the sidebar when creating or editing a course became crowded and overwhelming.
In this release, we added a new dedicated Course Settings tab to help with this.

The order is more logical, and everything should be easier to find.
The New Course Theme
This update also includes support for ‘Course,’ our new free WordPress block theme for creators.

Specifically, our distraction-free Learning Mode templates look and feel like the rest of the site. And blocks like the new Course List inherit all theme styles fully.
We are excited to see how our users will take advantage of Co-Teachers and the latest improvements of Sensei LMS. If you have any questions or feedback, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Happy teaching!
