Sensei Course and Lesson offer the following blocks:

For more information, please check out our documentation below:

Conditional Content Block

The Conditional Content block can be added to courses and lessons. Any content added inside this block is only displayed if your site visitor is enrolled in the course, is not enrolled in the course, or has completed the course.

The visibility condition can be set by clicking on the block and selecting a value from the toolbar dropdown. You can add as many blocks inside the Conditional Content block as you like:

Note: The Conditional Content block is only available with the free Sensei LMS plugin. If you’re using Sensei Pro, it’s replaced by the Block Visibility panel (see Courses for more details).

Useful Default WordPress Blocks

Generally speaking, core WordPress blocks are compatible with Sensei. The following list includes helpful WordPress Blocks to be used with Sensei.

  • File block: you can add a File Block in a Lesson to upload Lesson material (e.g., PDF file, media, etc)
  • Media block: add any type of media (including Video and Image) supported by WordPress core to your Courses and Lessons
  • Embed block: embed 3rd-party media (e.g., YouTube, Vimeo), social media (e.g., Facebook), and more

Other compatible Block-based features

  • Global Block toolbar options: Some options will show in Sensei blocks, such as:
    • Group/Ungroup: Using this option, you can group multiple blocks together – useful for applying colors and padding to a set of blocks. More on Group blocks.
    • Lock: Disable the option to move and/or delete the block.
    • Create Pattern: Save the block with your customizations so you can add it to other areas throughout your site. More on pattern blocks.
